Created from error message

New page

The texture imagefilename failed to load.

The image file could not be loaded. This indicates a problem with the image file itself, as distinct from a problem with the use of the texture in the mesh or the texture.txt file.

For example, a normal map of 4096x4096 caused this error to be logged:

- VE36: The texture 'body/normal.tga' failed to load.

The error may be one of several reported for the texture.

The image file should be examined to ensure that it meets the Trainz requirements for an image file. See:
* Image Formats
* Textures
