Track and switch diagram of Laura on the South Australian Government Railways Northern Narrow Gauge System (Peterborough Division) shown as it existed in the early 1960s. When the Broken Hill to Port Pirie line was converted to standard gauge in 1969, the Wilmington Line became an isolated narrow gauge branch line until it was closed in 1988.
