SAR Eurelia

Station, passing and goods/stockyard loops with loco watering facilities. Some of the station buildings on the line, such as here at Eurelia, were built in a far "grander style" than was needed as it was hoped that the line would attract many settlers and industries to the region. This hope was never fulfilled. Eurelia became the terminus of the line in March 1987 when the section between Eurelia and Quorn was closed. The rest of the line from Peterborough to Eurelia was closed in November 1988.
