SAR Wilmington

Commodities:  Passengers Goods Grain      Loco Services:  Coal Water    Facilities:  Depot Turning     Unmanned station and terminus on the  Gladstone-Wilmington Line . Station and goods loops, a grain siding, loco coaling and watering facility. A turning WYE. Proposals were made to extend the line from Wilmington to Quorn or Port Augusta but never progressed to firm plans. The Gladstone-Wilmington Line is unsignalled. Normally only a single train is permitted on the line at any one time. The line was closed in 1990 and the track from Melrose to Wilmington has been converted a rail trail.
