In 1969 the Broken Hill to Port Pirie line was converted to standard gauge and the the Terowie Line was converted to Irish broad gauge making the Quorn Line an isolated narrow gauge branch line until it and the Terowie Line were closed in 1988. Track and interlocking tower paths diagram (not all tracks are shown) of Peterborough on the South Australian Government Railways Northern Narrow Gauge System (Peterborough Division) shown as it existed in the early 1960s. In 1969 the Broken Hill to Port Pirie line was converted to standard gauge and the the Terowie Line was converted to Irish broad gauge making the Quorn Line an isolated narrow gauge branch line until it and the Terowie Line were closed in 1988. Created to support the TRS19 version layout.
