Getting Started: If you have already closed the opening message window then the first step is to pause the session by pressing the  P  key. If you decide to set the session clock to a different starting time then follow the instructions shown in the Orders section below Select a specific service starting at Peterborough or Quorn from the timetable shown in the Orders section below. Next locate a suitable loco at the starting location. Either:- Open the Finder Tool (press  Ctrl   F ) and type, in the Name field, the name of the loco, for example SAR T 232 (or just T 232 should be enough). Click the tick icon, OR Open the Driver List (bottom left of the screen) and then scroll through the list to find either:- the loco name (e.g. SAR T 232) OR the driver icon (e.g. named Driver 232) - this is a non-animated icon then click the drivers Eye icon to take control of the loco Take a few moments to get your bearings. Click or (the link will open in this window) to show the details and track plans at each location. Each location details page has direct links to the adjacent locations so you can explore along the route. When you are ready to start, reload the Peterborough Base Session page (click the Scenarios button on your current location page) and select this Scenario again or just use the Back button on your browser - whichever is quicker. Switch back to Trainz Driver Mode Close the opening message window and, if Pause is shown on the screen, press the  P  key to start the session.

Orders: If required, move your loco to couple with a waiting consist Proceed onto the Peterborough-Quorn Line to locations as specified in the working timetable shown below. Dropping or collecting wagons as required. MTW flat wagons at  Goods Cranes  and/or  Goods Sidings  QLX wagons at  Goods Sheds  and/or  Goods Sidings  CCC gondola wagons loaded with coal at  Depot Coaling Stages  Sheep 4-Wheel Wagons and K Cattle Wagons at  Stockyards  and/or  Stockyard Sidings  Water and coal the loco at available locations as needed The return run, detailed in the timetable below, is optional. Driving Notes: A summary of the facilities and product loads at all locations along the line is provided in the link The approaches to all locations are protected by invisible signals to prevent the AI Half Speed Slowdown Problem when approaching a signal at stop. The curves between Wallaway and Eurelia and some bridges have posted 20 mph speed restrictions. Trackmarks and industries have been provided for AI Drive To Trackmark, Drive via Trackmark and Drive to  Industry  commands. Click for details. The Turning WYE at Orroroo was removed during the 1930s. It is retained in this layout for historical and operational reasons. Manual (no AI) driving is possible. As a visual driving aid, a Caution warning sign has been placed at the location of the Main Approach Dn and Main Approach Up trackmarks. Click for details. If driving manually in yards, you are responsible for correctly setting any catch points.
